IBISKA has an Immediate opportunity for one (1) Video Conferencing Telecommunication System Specialist, Level 2.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate the installation of new or modified unclassified/secure professional AV/VC systems in a corporate environment;
- Analyze network specifications, designs and equipment lists to ensure proposed solutions meet requirements;
- Develop VC Local Area Network (LAN)/Wide Area Network (WAN) System requirements and identify the material and equipment necessary to implement proposed solutions;
- Develop AV solutions in accordance with client requirements;
- Provide technical advice and assistance to acquisition authorities at government agencies with specific direction on video, audio, and data conferencing network infrastructure and required equipment;
- Provide written and verbal recommendations on disposal, retention and upgrading of associated equipment; and
- Participate in the development of maintenance objectives and implementation procedures
Skills/Qualifications — MUST HAVE
- Minimum of (5) year of experience in both unclassified and classified Professional Audiovisual environments.;
- Minimum of (3) years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite 2010 or higher (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and MS Visio Professional 2010 of higher;
- Minimum of (5) years of experience performing installations, integration, maintenance and support for unclassified/classified professional audio visual and video conferencing endpoint systems, in a corporate environment;
- Minimum of (5) years of experience using AMX and Crestron Professional audiovisual equipment control systems touch panels and their interconnectivity to audiovisual systems;
- Minimum of (5) years of experience interpreting and utilizing: Telepresence infrastructure specifications; Network architecture diagrams; Engineering drawings; and Schematic diagrams;
- Minimum of (2) years of experience defining requirements for the processing of Government (Federal, Provincial or Municipal) procurement documents;
- Minimum of (5) years of experience analyzing network specifications and developing Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) system requirements for networked audio, video and data conferencing solutions.
- Minimum of (5) years of experience in writing technical reports, correspondence and detailed instructions.
- Minimum of (5) years of experience interpreting and evaluating professional audio-visual failures.
- Minimum of (5) years of experience checking, adjusting, inspecting, repairing, and operating audio, video and data infrastructure equipment and systems.
This is an IMMEDIATE OPEN POSITION on IBISKA’s AV/VC contract with the Government of Canada.
