Each year, IBISKA participates in the “Christie Lake Kids” fund raising event held on the first Saturday in June. The event features a canoe race and silent auction to help raise money for kids in our community that would not otherwise be able to attend summer camp. Our generous and dynamic staff have been raising funds and giving up part of their weekend to participate in the canoe race which is the main activity of the event. Although we have not won the canoe race this year, the IBISKA Paddlers placed first again for $ amount raised for the cause – a total of $16,256.00!
